A Spectacular Week of Competition
The 34th Blackpool Spring Crown Green Bowling Festival took place from 23rd to 28th March 2025, and what a tournament it was! We were absolutely delighted to welcome 196 guests—our highest attendance in over a decade—to the Hotel Sheraton, Blackpool, our fantastic venue once again.
The festival was a resounding success, filled with intense competition, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments. It was a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces who have supported us over the years, as well as extend a warm welcome to those joining us for the first time.

James Smith, Director of Esselle, reflected on the event
"At Esselle, we are incredibly fortunate to work alongside such a vibrant and dedicated community of bowling enthusiasts. The friendship, camaraderie, and shared passion among our clients create an atmosphere that’s very special to us.
This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming 196 bowlers to our event at the Sheraton—a reflection of the outstanding efforts of our very own Aaron Pearson, whose dedication and hard work ensure every event runs smoothly.
We are committed to delivering the best possible experience, constantly learning from each event to refine and improve our offerings. Our ultimate goal is to grow the game together.
Looking ahead, we’re excited for the Cliffs Classic in June, as well as the revamped Illuminations event in September. And there’s even more to come in 2026!
Don't forget to stay connected for updates either by subscribing to the website or following us on social media, and join us on this exciting journey."
